Hydro-Stacker Hydroponic Classes
Intermediate Class (Fee: $250.00)
This is a 2-day class, offered monthly. This class is for those who want to increase their knowledge and skill at growing hydroponically. Topic covered will include:
- How the Hydro-Stacker. is assembled
- How to assemble the ½. and ¾. pipes
- How the nutrients flow through the system
- The properties of Vermiculite
- The properties of Perlite
- How to plant seeds
- How to use plants
- PH balance
- Mixing the Secret Sauce
- Chemicals
- How to advertise your business: newspapers, magazines, radio, specialty media.
- How to develop the 'Plan B' that is a must to survive. This will cover seeds, stackers, PH balance, parts, vegetables.
- Contacting the potential visitor: homeschool groups, garden clubs, community groups, social clubs.
- How to conduct tours. The importance of tours, how to craft a tour that is the right length and provides the right amount and type of information. Working with your local Extension Service.
Class Schedule
Please check the Class Calendar. Classes are held at the farm, 7308 Verna Bethany Road, Myakka City, FL 34251. You must be age 14 or older to attend.
Registration and Payment Policy:
Registration and payment in advance is required. Call Nicole Pickera at (941) 322-9602/9603 to register at least 1 week in advance or send in your registration form with payment.
